Thank you for your interest in Dunaway Properties! Here are some frequently asked questions. We hope this helps address any concerns or questions you may have.
What IS REQUIRED TO MOVE IN?
A Background check, employment verification, first months rent and security deposit.
You can always secure a property with a lease and deposit, this will allow you to move in when it best suits your schedule.
ARE PETS ALLOWED?
Yes, dogs under 25lbs are allowed. They are required to be on a leash at all times and there are no outdoor kennels allowed. Cats are also allowed with an enclosed litter box.
WHAT ARE THE UTILITY COSTS?
In a two bedroom property, the cost is typically $100 to $150 a month. In a three bedroom property it is typically $200 to $250 a month.
Those averages can vary a lot depending upon your lifestyle and exterior temperatures.
Water is typically $50 a month depending on lifestyle.
IS THERE INTERNET?
Yes, There is internet available by a variety of different providers of your choice and needs.
IS LAWN CARE PROVIDED?
Yes, lawn care, landscaping, weed control, and pest control are all taken care of for you.
WHAT HAPPENS IF SOMETHING BREAKS OR ISNT WORKING PROPERLY THAT I DIDNT CAUSE?
We will repair or replace it for you.
WHO DO I CALL IF SOMETHING NEEDS ATTENTION OR I NEED ASSISTANCE WITH THE HOME
You will call us and we will work with you directly. NO middle man. Since we design, build, manage, and maintenance all of our properties ourselves, we are well-versed on how to remedy most issues.
DO YOU OFFER SNOW REMOVAL?
We do not, but we do have a list of providers we can refer you to who can help should you need assistance.
WHAT SCHOOL DISTRICT ARE YOUR PROPERTIES IN?
All of our properties are located in the tri - C, Carterville Unit 5 School District.
Since we have been building and leasing properties for over 20 years, we do not take lightly how important, stressful, and also exciting the journey is of where "home" might take you. We strive to make that process as easy as possible and provide you with one less thing to worry about.
